At EcoStiletto, we know from eco-friendly shoes. After all, we gave away $500 in free ones each month this year! But when we saw the shoes at Olsen Haus, we were smitten. First off, they’re vegan, and designer Elizabeth Olsen only uses the highest-quality leather and suede alternatives that tread lightest on the Earth. Second, they’re well priced, with most pairs costing under $200. But finally—c’mon, just look at the picture!—they’re freakin’ GORGEOUS, ridiculously SEXY and so sleuth in their FANTASTICness that they don’t look like eco-friendly shoes at all.

Case in point? 2009’s “Prosperity” model, which was crafted in faux lizard, suede and patent materials. Well over three-inch heels? Check. Sexy little ankle strap that makes your legs look a mile long? Check. Peek-a-boo toes to show off a perfect, big-three free pedicure? Check. Comfortable enough to wear dirty dancing without having to soak your feet in ice cubes afterwards? Double check.

They make us wish we lived in a 1950s movie so we could flit around in four-inch heels every day, and inspire us to reach for the strappies to hit the grocery store. And we were so inspired, we named them these shoes “the Holy Grail of EcoStilettos.” Extravagant praise? We don’t think so.

Now that we’ve got a sneak peek at what Elizabeth’s doing with this shape for spring 2010—all gorgeous dove-gray suede and “Flashdance” metallics, like the pair pictured above—we’re doubly smitten.

And left searching for hyperboles.
