Loomstate Organic, Eco-Friendly Denim
August 13 2007
The website does not do it justice. Trust us. If anything can sell organic denim to the masses, it’s Loomstate’s Fall catalogue, which features a smokin’ hot male and female models getting down and dirty in—and out of—their Loomstate jeans. If everyone looked this, ahem, happy in organic denim, they’d put Levi’s out of business (all except Levi’s Eco). But we’ll have to settle for the cake, rather than the icing: Crafted from organic cotton grown free of pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers, Loomstate’s collection of straight-ahead denim is refreshingly free of bells, whistles and whiskers. No tatters here, just four great-fitting styles for men and women—plus a cool pair of coral chinos thrown in for fun. It’s rare that you see a great organic denim collection for men, too, and we especially love the guy’s Methos style, which makes us want to grab hold of our men and wrassle with ‘em. Or maybe that’s just the catalogue.
