5.09 Mariel Hemingway Book Signing

Guests may have enjoyed nibbling on M Cafe de Chaya macrobiotic appetizers, sipping on sustainable O.N.E. juice from a recyclable tetra paks and shopping the sustainable fashions of ecoSkin, Karmel & Alden, Doie Designs and 4-rth Clothing at a Green Youth Movement-produced party at Intuition to celebrate the launch of Mariel Hemingway’s new cook book, Mariel’s Kitchen.

But the real star of the show was Mariel herself, a gracious and incredibly informative host who spent 20 minutes explaining her secrets to healthier cooking—no sugar, little meat, and lots of locally grown organic fruits and veggies—and hours answering fascinated guest’s questions about her motivations for writing the book.
