The Shoe’s The Thing at the Second-Annual EcoStiletto Green Girl’s Night Out at Intuition for Dress for Success.

Check out our insider video!

On Tuesday March 10th, more than 200 loyal Los Angeles EcoStiletto.com subscribers, including Sarah Jane Morris (“Seven Pounds”), eco-expert and author Anna Getty, Katie Gill (“Drillbit Taylor”), Lorielle New (“The Practice”), Pamela Hasselhoff, Carolyn Hennesy (“General Hospital”) and Kristen Renton (“Days of Our Lives”) attended the second-annual EcoStiletto Green Girl’s Night Out at Intuition.

Guests braved an unexpectedly torn-up sidewalk (thank you, stimulus package) to raise $600 and fill six shopping carts full of gently-used shoes (including Manolos, natch) in under three hours to donate to Dress for Success.

Sarah Jane Morris arrived in a veggie-diesel powered vintage Mercedes that she graciously parallel parked in front of about 50 bystanders and paparazzi, then posed with a visibly pregnant (and glowing) Anna Getty.

Green Works Natural Cleaning Products debuted their new biodegradable cleaning wipes and a reusable shopping bag that donates to the Sierra Club and was designed by host committee member (but unfortunate no-show), Jennie Garth.

Sarah Jane Morris, Anna Getty, Katie Gill, Carolyn Hennesy and Kristen Renton applied Terra Firma Cosmetics’ lead-free lipstick so they could kiss the Teens Turning Green Lips Against Lead petition facilitated by L.A.‘s own Green Youth Movement.

Anna Getty and Sarah Jane Morris tried on vegan ballerina flats from Do-Ni, featured in March as part of EcoStiletto.com’s monthly $500 eco-friendly shoe giveaway, and checked out the latest eco-shoe fashion from Kailia, Libertas, Charmone and Green Bees, which sported recycled-tire soles.

While grooving to tunes provided by solar-powered DJ Ref, guests drank phenomenal cashew cocktails from O.N.E. Coconut Water and nibbled on vegetarian hors d’oeuvres from Border Grill Catering.

The eco-friendly shoes will be featured on ShopIntuition.com, where the store is giving away an eco-friendly footwear basket worth $1,000 through March 26th.
