It can’t all be all about the Emmy’s, right? Daryl Hannah, Josie Maran, Anna Getty and Darren Moore of “Alter Eco” were all at the EcoStiletto Kids Launch Party sponsored by Green Works Natural Cleaners tent on Sunday, September 21st in Griffith Park, as part of Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots celebration of the United Nations’ International Day of Peace.

Pierce and Keely Brosnan hosted the Peace Day event, which featured a performance by Gavin Rossdale, with Gwen Stefani and their son Kingston rocking out in the audience.

Soap stars Angel Boris Reed (“General Hospital”) and McKenzie Westmore (“Passions”) joined other members of the Hot Moms Club as the organization created an Eco-Fashion Show that was announced by Shiva Rose and Anna Getty. Wearing a black eco-silk Loyale dress, convertible (and sustainable) Mohop shoes and Melissa Joy Manning earrings, Rachel walked (read: wobbled) too!

In the EcoStiletto Kids tent, Angel Boris Reed, wearing eco-designer Deborah Lindquist, posed on the EcoStiletto green carpet, E! host Jodi Fung (in Carolyn Vaile’s new eco-collection) and daughter Kassi received mommy-and-me eco-friendly manicures by West Hollywood eco-friendly nail salon Recess for Your Hands and Feet, Josie Maran and Darren Moore dove into the recycled-foam Yogi Poof bean bags and Anna Getty’s daughter made her an organic bouquet with Wisteria Lane flowers. Parents and kids alike enjoyed California Baby samples, O.N.E. Coconut Waters, organic snacks by Whole Foods and bubbles made from Green Works Natural Cleaners dishwashing soap.

EcoStilettoKids is devoted to all things green parenting-related, from sustainable faux fur teddy bears to waste-free lunch kits, plus the cutest organic kids’ clothes, reusable diapers, and so much more! The focus is primarily products and services related to kids from infant to elementary-school age, but will cover some tween and teen gear as well. As Founder and CEO of EcoStiletto, and mother of three kids that range from infant to tween, Rachel knows the category backwards and forwards. We hope you love this stuff as much as we do, so let us know what you think!
