Recycled 45 Nano Cases

As if you thought your iPod Nano couldn’t get any cooler, try camouflaging it as a mixed tape from back in the day with a 45 iPod case. In a secret workshop in Vancouver, workers gut the plastic of its thread, carving out a perfect space for your ‘Pod, and leaving the Memorex blank label intact on the front so you can scrawl whatever you want. “Ridiculous Prince Mix.” “Bang Your Head.” “200 minutes of groove to Santa Barbara and back, with a 20 minute moonlit beach break in between. Bring a blanket.” The possibilities are as endless as your shuffle function (but don’t get too excited, it won’t fit a Shuffle.) We fell in love with this concept when we discovered the 45 Classic cases made from recycled ’45s, which just happen to have a center hole the same size as the device’s click wheel. We were especially hot for “I Feel For You” by Chaka Khan, but they sold out. Of everything. Guess we have to find a Nano.
