As Anna signed copies of her amazing book, guests sipped ONE Natural Experience signature cocktails and Frey biodynamic wine while nibbling on Anna’s own organic appetizer recipes, presented by Chef Akasha of Akasha Restaurant in Culver City, complemented by Nicobella Vegan Organic Dark Chocolate Truffles.
Eco-beauty junkies cued up for mini makeovers by Josie Maran Cosmetics, with candlelight provided by Organic Salvage by Maura Peters.
More than a cookbook, Anna Getty’s Easy Green Organic examines the transformative possibilities of our relationship with food: Yes, there are plenty of inventive and delicious recipes, but Anna takes the concept further, explaining how to shop for organic, seasonal, and local ingredients; how to keep an eco-friendly kitchen; and how to cook meals that are as scrumptious to eat as they are healthful for the earth.
