Great Green Gear for Guys: Accessories

Sustainable wood watches from WeWood ($119)
When it comes to sustainable accessories, these two had us at hello. WeWood watches are, as per company mandate, “the avant-garde approach to sophisticated sustainability.” For every watch WeWood sells, a tree is planted. We like this math, since the wood used in one WeWood watch equals around 1/10,000 of a tree. The watches are completely free of artificial and toxic materials, and a little birdie told us that we can expect a WeWood pocket-watch to hit the market in no time at all.
Waiting For The Sun (W/SÜN) is a French cool-kid brand that makes swoon-worthy sunglasses from sustainable woods like bamboo. In addition to the glasses themselves being eco-superior to plastic glasses, the clever, pyramid-shaped packaging is ingeniously designed to minimize waste. The icing on the cake is that each pair of glasses comes with a handkerchief that features artist prints. Nice!
