Teens Turning Green Takes On Abercrombie & Fitch
At an age when most teens just want to save up enough allowance to shop at Abercrombie & Fitch, the awe-inspiring Teens Turning Green group joined together in San Francisco—some wearing gas masks—to protest the company’s policy of spraying synthetic perfumes in its stores. As one activist put it, “We may be trespassing in your store but you’re trespassing on our rights and on our health.” Score one for impassioned ingenuity, and none for A & F corporate, which shut down the store rather than engage in a discussion with the group.
