EcoStiletto Presented Anna Getty’s “I’m Dreaming of a Green Christmas” book launch party on November 10th at Environment Furniture in Los Angeles. When writing the book (printed by Chronicle Books on 100% post-consumer recycled paper, natch), environmentalist, chef and author Anna Getty discovered that between Thanksgiving and January 1st, the waste produced by the average American increases by thirty percent. What’s the solution? Simple, money-saving, heirloom-worthy traditions such as those showcased at the event, which inspired guests like Amy Smart, Balthazar Getty, Donovan Leitch, Josie Maran, Kirsty Hume, Sarah Jane Morris, Rachel Avalon (the recent Project Green Search winner) and EcoStiletto’s own Rachel Lincoln Sarnoff to go greener this holiday season.
