PETA-member Alima Pure is one of a tiny handful of US cosmetics companies to have received natural-cosmetics certification from the ultra-strict BDIH (Federation of German Industries and Trading Firms), which complies with European Union standards banning more than 1,000 chemicals deemed safe for cosmetics in the U.S. (Don’t get us started.)
