I’m very excited to share that I will be launching my first-ever line of jewelry, Angela by John Hardy! I will be selling on QVC. The first time it will air is October 18th at midnight, 2 pm and 8 pm. At first, I was a bit scared about going on QVC, but now I couldn’t be more excited. Mostly I’m excited about the enormous audience that QVC has, and having the opportunity to connect to so many women at once—straight into their living rooms.

The whole line of Angela by John Hardy jewelry is inspired by beauty, nature and spirit. I hope that the message will inspire. I was inspired to create this line after traveling to Bali and falling in love with the culture there. I loved how connected to nature the people there are, what amazing artisans they are, and the way they know how to stop and connect to the present moment. We have lost some of this in the Western cultures, yet I believe there is so much we can gain by reconnecting ourselves to these elements that remind us what life is really about.

Every piece is crafted of recycled sterling silver and gold accents. This collection is very inspired by Mother Earth. Most people think of green and brown when they think of earth, but for me I choose blues. The elements of water and air inspire the more ethereal aspects of nature. These are the parts of nature I want to reveal. Our more poetic selves, our emotional selves, our spirits.

My packaging is also made of recycled materials. It’s important to me to make responsible choices. I designed these pieces to be timeless, so they can be passed down from generation to generation. John Hardy is a luxury brand with amazing esthetic, and with my line, I wanted to bring the element of luxury and make it attainable to many.

I look forward to sharing more… After October 18th, check out the whole line on QVC.com!

Love & Light,
Angela

EcoStiletto’s exclusive EcoCelebrity blogger Angela Lindvall made her debut on the small screen this November as host of Lifetime’s “Project Runway All Stars” with Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman. As a model, Angela’s chameleon-like qualities have made her one of the most sought-after faces in the world, but her mission has always been to bring a personal interest in sustainability to her professional career. Angela founded the non-profit Collage Foundation to bring national awareness to environmental issues and co-hosted Discovery Channel’s First Planet Green show, “Alter Eco” with Adrian Grenier. A host of the groundbreaking “Be ECO Chic” shows during 2007 New York City Fashion Week, Angela is on the founding board of Natural Resources Defense Council’s “Clean by Design,” an initiative to sustainably revolutionize the textile industry in China. Through the Collage Foundation, she supports various not-for-profit projects including The Rockland Farm Alliance, a global model created for local, sustainably grown food. Angela lives in Los Angeles with her two boys on a small farm, which she is currently developing for sustainable agriculture.
