Angela Lindvall Bites The Big Apple

Here I am in New York City! I landed a huge opportunity that will have me here for a month. Have to keep it top secret for now, but I’ll still check here with you each week—even when the schedule gets super busy!
It’s strange to spend a New York summer with my boys. We’re used to a whole different way of life back home. But New York has a lot to offer, and we’re taking advantage of Broadway shows, museums and city culture.
I must say, I’m not really a city gal myself. Not so many trees or nature seems unnatural to me.
If I lived here, I would be sure to bring as much nature into my surroundings as possible. Plants, rocks, shells and crystals make amazing interior design. Bring nature into your home, if it’s not right outside your door. Succulents are a great and easy way to start. Using a variety of colors and shapes, you can create a living, three-dimensional artwork in a container.
Water features are another amazing way to create a peaceful sound in your living space. Sometimes adding more than one together creates a dimension of sound. I love it! Believe it or not, these things have an affect on our state of being.
On a bigger note of city green: Have you heard of Greenpoint Brooklyn rooftop farms?
Goes to show there ARE ways to bring Green into a city, ways that really make sense. With the right minds and people taking action, there are amazing possibilities.
Love & Light,
