2007 Archives: Reyka Vodka: The First Sustainably Made, Green Vodka

In 2006 Iceland was ranked as the fourth happiest nation in the world by an independent scientific study. Ten percent of the country’s population believes in the existence of elves. Think that’s just a coincidence? We think it might have something to do with the vodka. Reyka Vodka racks up a lot of firsts: it’s the first “green” vodka distilled using sustainable and clean geothermal energy, the first vodka distilled and bottled in Iceland, and the first vodka to be made from glacial water. But we like it because it just plain tastes fantastic—no fruity Scooby snack flavors here, just hurts-so-good, lip-smackin’ vodka-flavored vodka. Yum.

I would like to go to Iceland; see some elves; see Gus Gus; and have some vodka. Please hook me up. Thank you. You can find me up and across the street.
